This year is different than all the other years.
We yearn for gifts of kindness and love. A handmade gift from the heart will do more this year than expensive gifts from the stores. And crafting these special gifts for our loved ones will keep us at home where it is safer this year. I am encouraging you to give with your heart this holiday season, by giving with mine this December.
Each day, beginning December 1, 2020, I present you with a brand new “gift” — a project to craft, make, or do. You can make these projects on a machine or by hand if you don’t have one. Each 25-Day Gift-Away project will have a free detailed video, a step-by-step photo tutorial, and a free pattern/cut file.
I call this annual project the 25-Day Gift-Away and it is a virtual holiday countdown calendar filled with gifts for YOU!
This is a show of my LOVE for your support and encouragement of my blog, channel, and academy over the last four years.
My 25-Day Gift-Away projects and patterns are COMPLETELY FREE!
There is nothing to buy, other than your supplies and tools.
This is my special gift to you.
I want to make your spirits bright this year, and help you do it for others, too!

Each day between December 1 and 25, 2020, you can turn over one of the pretty tile ornaments on my 2020 advent calendar, as shown below. The decoration on the front of the tile shows you which of my gift projects you'll get that day!
Like this ornament tree countdown calendar? You can make one for yourself with my FREE pattern and tutorial, which I will send to you when you signup for the 25-Day Gift-Away!
We're giving away over $3600 in prizes, too!
You'll get the details on how to enter our giveaway after you sign up!
Is this really free? What's the catch?
There is NO catch. I began my blog in 2016 with the intention of sharing my experience and knowledge with the world, and sharing freely gives me the MOST joy. There is no charge for any of these projects, and all of my professional-level designs, tutorials, and videos are entirely free. This is my thank-you gift for the love you've shown me over the last four years, and my gratitude for catapulting my blog and YouTube channel to such breathtaking heights. I am ever-thankful for your support and love.
Do I have to sign up?
No, you do not — free is free! The projects will appear on my blog, YouTube channel, Facebook page, Instagram account, Twitter page, and TikTok stream for you to see. BUT, if you sign up on this page, you do get extra goodies, such as a sneak peek at the upcoming projects, a preview of the supply and material lists, first access to each project each day (via email notification), and some bonus entries to my gift-away giveaway. It's worth it to sign up.
Also, while I think this goes without saying, I just want to reassure you that your name and email address are totally safe with me. I protect this information, never ever sell it, and value it highly.
Didn't you do this last year? Is it the same projects?
The projects are ALL NEW for 2020! My team and I picked these project ideas from your requests, and by listening to what you requested over and over, and I know you're going to love our December 2020 projects!
Do you have a list of the projects you'll be making?
You can get a sneak peek of the projects immediately after you sign up FREE!
My friend made one of your holiday projects and I love it! Will you be teaching me how to make that?
I have a TON of holiday project tutorials already online from the last three Decembers, and you're welcome to begin making them right now. Here are links to the projects from previous years:
Can I make your projects even if I don't have a cutting machine or sewing machine?
In most cases, yes! My 2020 Gift-Away projects come with a free printable PDF you can use to cut or sew by hand. And at least two of these projects can't be created with a machine at all. To help you out, here's the number of 2020 Gift-Away projects that REQUIRE a machine:
Projects that require the Cricut Maker: 4
Projects that work best with a cutting machine, like a Cricut Explore, Silhouette Cameo, or Brother Cut 'N' Scan, because of intricate details or letters: 15
Projects you can sew on a sewing machine: 1
If you're in the market for a cutting machine, I am a big fan of Cricut cutting machines. Read this post to learn the difference between the Cricut Maker and Cricut Explore to help you decide which one is best for you.
How do I get a list of what you're giving away?
Check out the giveaway list earlier on this page!
Can I suggest a project I want to learn how to make?
Yes! While I may not be able to make the project in December, I can at least begin researching it and I can include it in an upcoming tutorial. Submit your project ideas here! All of the projects I'm showing you how to make in December were at one time or another requested by readers and viewers, too!
I signed up, but I'm not getting your daily emails. Can you help?
I will begin sending daily emails on December 1. If you aren't receiving them, you can contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org and we'll check to be sure your email address is receiving them, and if not, help you get back on track.
I love everything about this project and I want to tell others. How do I share it?
Just tell your friends to go to jennifermaker.com/giftaway and they'll see this page to sign up, too!
